As I announced during the last class session, I moved the <em>Understanding Comics<\/em> reading around just a little bit, but no major changes. (Whenever I make changes to the calendar, I&#8217;ll post an update here to let you know to double-check the schedule.)<\/p>\n<p>I will be adding a resources page soon. In the meantime, here are some links to resources that should be helpful for you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Domain of One&#8217;s Own <a href=\"http:\/\/english.emory.edu\/writing_program\/domain\/documentation\/for_students\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">student documentation pages<\/a> will provide lots of helpful resources for you.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">WordPress help codex<\/a> is an exhaustive resource.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>University of Mary Washington is also running a Domain of One&#8217;s Own program. All of their students sign up with accounts through essentially the same service as Reclaim Hosting.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They have a <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.umwdomains.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">documentation wiki<\/a>\u00a0with lots of good information. If you&#8217;re still having trouble with getting WordPress set up, you might pay particular attention to the page on <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.umwdomains.com\/wordpress\/installing-wordpress\" target=\"_blank\">installing WordPress<\/a> (once you log in to Reclaim Hosting, instead the UMW Domains page that documents shows, from there it&#8217;s the same process for us).<\/li>\n<li>The page on <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.umwdomains.com\/wordpress\/wordpress-themes\" target=\"_blank\">choosing a theme<\/a> should be helpful for you as you begin to customize your site.<\/li>\n<li>Check out the other <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.umwdomains.com\/wordpress\/wordpress\" target=\"_blank\">help pages on WordPress<\/a>\u00a0they&#8217;ve published.
